TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (MNA) -- The 21st Fajr International Challenge badminton competition will be held from February 16 to 19 in Tehran, Iran.

“Hopefully participants will take the event seriously and not consider it simply as a chance to gain experience in this year.  Iran failed to win a medal last year and I hope that our players claim medals in this edition,” president of Iran Badminton Federation Mohammad-Reza Pouria said.

The event will bring together a total of 205 players from 29 countries. The competitions will be played in men’s and women’s section and serve as a qualifying round for the 2012 London Olympics.
