TEHRAN, Dec. 8 (MNA) -- Iranian artist Barbad Golshiri along with a group of international artists is taking part in an exhibition called “Language” currently underway in Vivid, Birmingham.

“Language” is an exhibition and events program that explores the constructs of language and meaning from far reaching cultural perspectives.

Artists taking part in the exhibit include John Adams, Samuel Beckett, William Burroughs, Barbad Golshiri, Mona Hatoum, Gary Hill, Aura Satz, Guy Sherwin, Margaret Tait, and Olivier Zabat.

Golshiri is an Iranian contemporary artist, born in 1982 in Tehran. He is the son of the deceased writer Hushang Golshiri. He has studied painting and works both as a media artist and as a critic.

The exhibition that opened December 2 will run until December 18.

VIVID is an art center providing a resource for artists and curators in the form of commissions, residencies, exhibitions, publications, research, talks and touring activities.
