TEHRAN, December 28 (Mehr News Agency) -- Reza Soukhteh-Saraei and Alireza Soleimani, former heavyweight freestyle wrestlers of Iran, were picked by the federation Sunday as the national coaches.

The federation asked the duo to help upgrade the heavyweight wrestlers' techniques and tactics for 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, capital of Greece.

   

Soukhteh and Soleimani start their work on December 29.

   

Winning scores of Asian medals, Soukhteh bagged two world silvers in 1979 and 1981 in Santiago, Chile, and Skopje, Macedonia.

   

Soleimani, who has also garnered medals of Asian Games won the coveted gold of world event in Martini, Switzerland, in 1989.
