TEHRAN, June 12 (MNA) -- Iran National Library and Archives (INLA) Director Ali-Akbar Ash’ari announced that Austrian National Library director will be coming to Iran during the first month of summer (late June, early July).

Austrian library director has been invited to visit Iran National Library and Archives and the two parties will discuss holding an exhibition of rare Persian manuscripts in the Austrian library, Ash’ari who recently returned from Poland told the Persian service of ISNA.

 

Ash’ari also talked about the recent visit he paid to the University of Warsaw and said, “The Iranian delegation met with students and scholars of the university and invited Polish students of Iranology to complete their studies in Iran.

 

“We also promised to provide the necessary documents on Iranian studies for the students. Also a collection of 160 books on contemporary literature will be donated to the University of Warsaw in the next few days,” Ash’ari said.

 

“Iranian experts will also be dispatched to Poland to hold sessions on how to catalog and restore rare manuscripts,” he added.

 

The Chinese culture minister has also invited an Iranian delegation, said Ash’ari, expressing his hopes they can visit China in near future.

 

Visiting the National Library of Russia in Saint-Petersburg is also among the many programs of the Iran National Library and Archives.
