KARACHI, Pakistan, March 8 (MNA) -- Iran’s kabaddi team finished third in the Benazir Bhutto International Kabaddi tournament on Saturday.

Iran got third place after they overwhelmed England 45-33, while Pakistan won the championship after they beat Italy’s kabaddi team 48-35 in the final game.

Iran was beaten 55-40 by Pakistan in the semifinal, while Italy ousted England at the last-four stage.

Teams from Italy, Germany, England, UAE, France, Pakistan and Iran took part in the one-day event.
