TEHRAN, Feb. 27 (MNA) – Iran’s Industries and Mines Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian and Lebanese Industry Minister Ghazi Zoayter signed an MOU on promoting mutual economic and industrial relations.

IRNA quoted Mehrabian as saying that the MOU emphasizes on boosting ties in the production of cement, steel and mineral fertilizers, and the construction of agricultural processing industries and power plants.

 

He said that Iran has voiced its readiness to export sedans, road building machines and trucks to Lebanon, adding that the two nations are eager to hold annual exhibitions in the each others country.

 

Mehrabian stated that according to the MOU the sides also vowed to cooperate in the fields of dam building, dock building, urban development, and the construction of gas, oil, and water supply pipelines.

 

Ghazi Zoayter held separate meetings with Iranian First Vice President Parviz Davoudi, and Housing and Urban Development Minister Mohammad Saeidikia as well.
