TEHRAN Nov. 24 (Mehr News Agency) – In the Iranian government's Fourth Economic Development Plan (2005 – 2010), more Free Trade Zones (FTZ) would be established to help boost foreign investment in the country.

Hussein Nassiri, secretary of FTZ Supreme Council told the Fars News Agency that

in the Fourth Plan each Ftzs like Arasbaran, Arvand, and Bandar Anzali, would stand in a definite position and would enjoy a special character.

Transparency in regulations as well as a precise definition of the FTZs, which is considered in the Fourth Plan unlike the Third Plan, would attract more foreign investment in home, the official concluded.
