TEHRAN Nov. 2 (Mehr News Agency) – The 48th Valladolid International Film Festival gave its Best Film Award to the Iranian film “Crimson Gold” by Ja’far Panahi and the Afghan movie “Osama” by Siddiq Barmak.

The festival was held from October 24-November 1 in Spain.

 

It is the 57th international award of Iran’s cinema this year.

 

Panahi has already attained seven national and 33 international awards for his four films.

 

The Valladolid festival also screened 12 Iranian films in a special program dubbed “Picture of Tehran.”

 

Luciano Barisone (Italy), Eduardo Blanco (Argentina), Diana Bracho (Mexico), Roberto Enriquez (Spain), Charles McDougall (Great Britain), Soledad Puertplas (Spain) and Marie Vermillard (France) were members of the jury in the festival.
