TEHRAN, Sept. 2 (MNA) – The Kazakh ambassador to Tehran announced his country’s readiness to invest in different industrial sectors of Iran.

 

Yrik Utembayev made the remarks in a meeting with Mehdi Ghazanfari, the deputy commerce minister and head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI).

 

Referring to the sides’ potentials, he announced that bilateral trade volume could touch $2 billion.

 

He voiced Kazakh companies’ eagerness for investing in Iran in line with the enforcement of Article 44 of the Constitution.

 

Calling for Iranian presence in Kazakhstan’s projects, he referred to construction of two steel mills in his country in collaboration of Iran.

 

Ghazanfari also expressed Iran’s willingness for boosting trade and economic ties with Kazakhstan.

 

Agriculture, construction of industrial factories, refineries, cement factories, and holding fairs constitute the fields for bilateral cooperation.
