The Israeli military said a Palestinian gunman opened fire on troops at a checkpoint near the West Bank settlement outpost of Homesh on Sunday afternoon.
The military claimed that they returned fire and martyred the resistance fighter.
There was no casualties among the soldiers, the occupying regime's army further claimed, according to the local media.
