TEHRAN, April 18 (MNA) -- Twelve foreign feature-length movies are to compete in the international section of the Hamedan International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults.

 

China, Britain, India, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan, South Korea and Thailand are some of the countries which will be participating.

 

The festival will take place from April 30 until May 4.

 

Persian books translated into Arabic on display in Lebanon

 

TEHRAN -- Seven Persian books which have recently been translated into Arabic by the Iranian translator Fatemeh Parchekani, are on display at the Beirut Book Fair.

 

The books include a series of stories written by various authors and published by Shahed Publications.

 

The books focus on Sacred Defense themes including the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and the biography of some of the martyrs and war veterans.

 

The Arabic texts were published by Dar al-Hadi publishing house in Beirut.
