The two police officers were martyred by the gun men in Reigan County in Kerman Province in southeast Iran on Saturday afternoon.
The officers were in their police car when the gunmen suddenly opened fire on them, local Iranian media said.
Earlier on Saturday, two Basij forces were martyred by armed terrorists in Saravan County, in neighboring Sistan and Baluchestan province.
