TEHRAN, Nov. 13 (MNA) – The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that Ali Larijani, the senior adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and a member of the Expediency Council, will depart for Syria on Thursday.

The spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said in a statement on Wednesday that, "Tomorrow, Thursday, Ali Larijani will depart for Damascus at the head of an official delegation to meet and talk with senior Syrian officials, especially President Bashar Assad."

"The latest developments in the region and bilateral relations will be the main focus of Larijani's talks with the Syrian authorities," Baghaei added.
