The earthquake occurred at around 01:07 a.m. local time at a depth of 8 km, according to the Iranian Seismological Center.
Two earthquakes of magnitude 2.7 and 2.5 have been recorded in Shahdad, Kerman.
There have been no immediate reports of possible casualties or damages.
