Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received a group of war veterans and activists of the eight years of the Sacred Defense era. The meeting was held on Wednesday morning during Sacred Defense Week.
"The voice of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic was a clear voice against the wrong world order," the Leader said, saying that the enemies use human rights and nuclear issues as an excuse for their enmity with Iran.
Referring to the developments in the region, Ayatollah Khamenei said, "Today, an event similar to our Sacred Defense is taking place in Lebanon and Palestine," likening the recent incidents in Lebanon and Palestine to the incidents of the imposed war on Iran.
"The definite ruling of Sharia is that it is obligatory for everyone to try and help to return Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque to the Muslims and to its original owners," he emphasized.
Describing the US words on not being aware of Israeli attacks in the region as lies, the Leader said that the Americans are aware of the Israeli crimes, are involved in them, and also need the victory of the Zionist regime.
For the upcoming elections, the current American government needs to show that it supported the Zionist regime to help it win, he said, adding, "Of course, they also need the votes of American Muslims, so they pretend that they are not involved."
"The Palestinian Resistance is victorious. Hezbollah is victorious. Until today, this victory has been for Hezbollah and the Resistance forces."
