TEHRAN, June 21 (Mehr News Agency) – The construction operations of a women’s football stadium will start soon, said the Public Relations Office of Azadi Sports Complex, 10 km west of Tehran, Saturday.

Following an order by the President of Iran’s Physical Education Organization (PEO), Mohsen Mehralizadeh, and a session attended by the managers of the Company for Equipping Azadi Sports Complex, the construction of a stadium for women begins in the near future.

 

The plan is implemented in different phases, said the office adding that in the first phase the limits of stadium are marked, and locker rooms and toilets with appropriate sanitary ware and lighting are constructed.
