TEHRAN, October 8 (Mehr News Agency) -- Head of Iran’s Physical Education Organization (PEO) Mohsen Mehralizadeh met with Russia's State Duma deputy chairman and Paralympic Committee deputy Vladimir Lukin in Moscow Wednesday.

The two sides explored avenues for expansion of bilateral cultural-sports ties.

   

Mehralizadeh, who is also the vice-president and Lukin expressed their satisfaction with the mutual cooperation, putting great emphasis on boosting regional and international relations.

   

Their discussion also revolved around all-out cooperation in the athletic fields in particular wrestling.

   

During his stay, the PEO supremo is to sign a memorandum of understanding with Vyacheslav Fetsiov, the chairman of Russia's State Sports Committee.
