TEHRAN, May 22 (MNA) – The Indonesian foreign minister Retno Marsudi has been to the Iranian Embassy in Jakarta to pay tribute to the late Iranian president and his foreign minister who became martyred in a recent helicopter crash.

In a post on her X account, foreign minister of Indonesia Retno Marsudi said that she had offered condolences to Iran over the deaths (martyrdom) of the late Iranian president and foreign minister by going to the Iranian embassy in the Indonesian capital and signing a book of condolence. 

Martyred President Ebrahim Raeisi and his entourage including foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian became martyred in a tragic helicopter crash in northwest Iran on May 19.
