TEHRAN, May 13 (MNA) – Israeli forces again carried out nighttime raids across towns and villages in the occupied West Bank.

A large Israeli convoy, including a military bulldozer, raided the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, and arrested dozens of young men.

One young man suffered bruises and fractures after being detained during the raid, Al Jazeera reported.

Another young Palestinian man was also arrested during an Israeli raid in Deir Samet, west of Hebron.

Israeli soldiers also fired tear gas during confrontations with Palestinians after raiding the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus, at dawn.

Israel waged its brutal war on the besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out a historic operation against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Earlier this week, Israeli troops took control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza and started carpet-bombing the city. Israeli officials said it was the first step towards a full-scale assault on Rafah, home to around 1.5 million Palestinians who have been displaced due to the Gaza onslaught.
