TEHRAN, Apr. 24 (MNA) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi left Pakistan for Sri Lanka on Wednesday to pay a one-day visit to the South Asian country.

The Iranian President will pay a one-day trip to Sri Lanka at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart.

During this trip, the two countries are set to reach favorable agreements, according to Iranian Government Spokesperson's remarks on Tuesday.

Leading a high-profile delegation, Raisi embarked on a diplomatic journey spanning Islamabad and Sri Lanka. His arrival in Islamabad on Monday was met with a ceremonial welcome, including greetings from Pakistani Minister of Housing and Works Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada and other dignitaries.
