TEHRAN, Apr. 23 (MNA) – Chinese customs has announced that the Iran-China trade exchange in Q1 2024 reached more than $4 billion.

The trade between Iran and China from January to March 2024 increased by one percent, reaching $4.2 billion, compared to the same period in 2023, according to the figure from the Chinese customs department.

The exchanges between Iran and China were reported to be $3.9 billion in the first quarter of 2023.

As per the report, China imported over $1.2 billion worth of goods from Iran in the first three months of 2024, showing a 10% YOY increase.

China's exports to Iran from January to March 2024 were $2.7 billion, down by 3% compared to the same period last year.
