TEHRAN, Apr. 14 (MNA) – People in Tehran gathered last night after the Zionist Israeli regime received "a slap in the face" from the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in retaliation for two weeks ago's attack on Iran's consulate in Syria.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei describes missile and drone strikes on the Israeli regime-linked positions as a "slap in the face."
Iran said Sunday that its retaliatory strikes on the occupied territories under the control of the Israeli regime ended with the strikes last night, warning of a “stronger” reaction if the Israeli regime responds.
Overnight on Saturday and early Sunday morning, Iran launched hundreds of retaliatory missiles and drones at targets in the occupied territories.
The attack came less than two weeks after Israeli warplanes bombed the consular annex of Iran's embassy in the Syrian capital, killing seven IRGC members who were on an advisory mission to the Arab country.
