In an interview with Mehr News Agency (MNA) on Thursday, Bahadori Jahromi touched upon the legal and political actions of the government to condemn the Israeli airstrike on the country's consulate building in Damascus which led to the martyrdom of the entire people inside it.
Necessary legal, judicial, and diplomatic follow-ups by the Iranian judicial and political authorities regarding the Israeli action against international principles have definitely taken place and will continue, he said.
He added that Iran's permanent mission to the UN also wrote a letter to the UN the Secretary General and the President of the UN Security Council, demanding the condemnation of the aggression of the Zionist regime and the necessary decision in this regard.
Bahadori Jahromi also pointed to the meeting of the country's Deputy Foreign Minister of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the foreign ambassadors to Tehran, quoting him as saying that the Israeli aggression was a flagrant violation of international law and must be condemned.
