TEHRAN, Apr. 06 (MNA) – The number of the security forces martyred in the recent terrorist attack by the terror group Jaish ul-Adl in Sistan and Baluchestan Province rose to 16 people according to local officials.

Local officials in Sistan and Baluchestan Province said on Saturday that the number of martyred armed forces in clashes with the Jaish ul-Adl terror group has risen to 16. 

12 out of the 16 martyrs were Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) members while the rest were Law Enforcement police forces. 

The terrorists who were announced to be foreign nationals tried to storm the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) headquarters in the southeastern border province of Sistan-Baluchestan on Thursday. 

All the 18 terrorist attackers were killed in the armed clashes but they could not take over any of the five military bases in Chabahar and Rask Counties they had attacked.
