TEHRAN, Mar. 10 (MNA) – Iran's parliament opposed the Economic Commission's proposal to amend the laws of Trade Unions and form a new syndicate bank.

The opponents of this proposal considered the formation of a new bank in the country as the cause of inflation and an increase in liquidity.

According to Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf the Chamber of Guilds can submit its request in this regard to the central bank and proceed to form a bank if the request is authorized.

This action does not require the approval of a new law, he said.
