TEHRAN, Mar. 09 (MNA) – The Ukrainian military has used three kamikaze drones to attack a village in Russia's Belgorod Region, leaving two people killed and one more wounded, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"The outskirts of the village of Rozhdestvenska in the Grayvoron urban district were attacked by the Ukrainian armed forces with three ‘kamikaze’ drones. Two people were killed and a third man was seriously wounded as a result of explosions. An ambulance is on its way to the site. As soon as the operational situation is possible, the victim will be taken to a medical facility," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Gladkov said that an excavator and a manipulator were damaged in the drone attack, while more information is being verified, TASS reported.

Earlier, the governor wrote on his Telegram channel that since Friday morning, the air defenses had shot down five drones over in the Belgorod Region: two of them were downed near the village of Varvarovka, two more near Belomestnoye and Boldyrevka, and the last one in the Krasnaya Yaruga district. In addition, Ukrainian drones attacked the village of Maslova Prystan in the Shebekino urban district in the afternoon, dropping an explosive device on a farm, and as a result of the explosion, its roof was smashed. There were no casualties in all the incidents.
