Regarding the prevention of addiction growth in the country, Eskandar Momeni said that by adopting new approaches that give a role to the people in fighting against drugs, the growth of addiction in the country has stopped. He said that efforts of all institutions have played a part in the acheivement.
Reiterating the warning about new risks of illegal drugs, he added that despite efforts made by some individuals to present drug use as a harmless act in stylish and new packages, the relevant bodies should use appropriate means to raise public awareness about the destructive impact the drugs.
He expressed hope for more achievements in the fight against drugs with the implantation of new plans.
