TEHRAN, Mar. 02 (MNA) – The Iranian President lambasted some Islamic countries that have economic relations with the Zionist Israeli regime amid the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

President Ebrahim Raeisi of Iran made the remarks in a meeting with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Algeria on the sidelines of the 7th summit of the leaders of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Algeria on Saturday.

In the meantime, the economic relations of some regional governments with the Zionist regime continue."

Raeisi expressed his deep regret that the governments of the region have fallen into inaction and excessive conservatism in dealing with the Palestinian issue, saying that. "While the Palestinian Muslim nation is expecting practical and effective action from the Islamic governments today, one can see that some Arab and Islamic states are showing indifference towards the Palestinian issue. What is the response of their nations to the massacre of the oppressed people of Palestine?"
