TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (MNA) – The Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Colombo on Monday at the official invitation of Al Sabry, the Minister of External Affairs of Sri Lanka for talks on bilateral relations.

The Srilankan ambassador to Tehran accompanied the top Iranain diplomat to Tehran's Mehrabad Airport before leaving for Colombo. 

During his visit to Sri Lanka, in light of the friendly relations between the two countries, the Iranian foreign minister will discuss with the high-ranking officials of south Asian countries the expansion of relations between the two nations in the fields of political, economic, scientific, technical and technological exchanges.
