TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (MNA) – The commander of Iran army air force said his forces are ready to cooperate and interact as much as possible with aligned countries in various fields, including conducting joint drills.

Commander of the Iranian Army's Air Force Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi said in a meeting with foreign military attaches residing in Tehran on Thursday that the Air Force played a key and colossal role in the victory of the Islamic Revolution and commemorated the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. 

The commander pointed to some of the achievements that the Air Force has made after the revolution including locally manufacturing combat planes and weapons and emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran is by no means a threat to the region and the world.

Vahedi went on to note that, "The Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran is prepared to cooperate and interact as much as possible with aligned countries in various fields, including carrying out joint exercises, educational cooperation, especially the exchange of students and professors between aviation universities in various fields, cooperation in the affairs of maintenance and repair of parts and airplanes."

Air simulators was another field offered for cooperation with friendly countries's air forces by the Iranian commander.
