Amir-Abdollahian and Pakistani Army chief Asim Munir held a meeting on Monday at Pakistani Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi in the Punjab province.
In the meeting a group of Pakistani military officials and were also participating in addition to members of the high-ranking Iranian delegation, as well as Reza Amiri Moghadam, Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, and Colonel Mostafa Qanbarpour, the military attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan, were present.
Amir-Abdullahian and the Pakistani army commander exchanged views on the latest developments related to bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan, security cooperation and management of shared borders.
They also discussed regional developments and the situation in the Middle East, including the continuation of the Zionist regime's crimes in Gaza.
This is the third official meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, with General Asim Munir, since the beginning of the 13th government in Iran under President Ebrahim Raeisi.
