TEHRAN, Jan. 23 (MNA) – A senior scientific official from Pakistan has said that Tehran and Islamabad agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of science and technology.

Mukhtar Ahmed, the chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, told IRNA at an interview held recently in Tehran.

During his stay in Tehran, Ahmed held talks with several senior Iranian officials including the minister of research and science.

In his remarks, the Pakistani official said Iran has done well in the area of science and in the development of technology.
