Iran is ready to share its technological experiences with Cuba and to set up data centers in the Latin American country, Issa Zarepour said in a meeting held in Tehran on Monday with Cuba's First Deputy Minister of Communications Wilfredo González Vida.
Referring to the US unjust sanctions on the Iranian companies, Zarepour said such bans have led to creating opportunities for the country to upgrade its knowledge and technology.
For his part, the Cuban official said in the meeting that Havana attaches great importance to its relations with Tehran in all fields.
Cuba is eagerly waiting for seeing the presence of the Iranian companies to develop technological area in the country, he added.
It was in June 2023 that the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi travelled to Havana at the head of a delegation to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries which are both under the sanctions.
