TEHRAN, Jan. 16 (MNA) – Iran's Foreign Minister's Senior Adviser, on Tuesday, in a video call with the United Nations Secretary General's representative for Yemen affairs, emphasized Iran's readiness to help advance Yemen's peace talks.

In a video call with Hans Grundberg, Special Envoy for Yemen of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen affairs, with Ali Asghar Khaji, the senior adviser of the Iranian foreign minister on special political affairs, discussed the latest developments in the Yemen peace process and the Israeli regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Both sides expressed hope that the progress achieved in the Yemen peace case will reach the final results.

Khaji also called for an end to the war crimes and genocide of the Zionist regime in Gaza and emphasized that all regional and international issues are affected by the Palestinian issue.

The senior advisor to Iran's foreign minister on special political affairs added that countries that want the Islamic Republic of Iran to exercise self-restraint are supplying weapons to the Zionist regime and managing the war in Gaza, and this has caused this regime to continue its crimes.

Khaji also welcomed the progress achieved in the process of peace negotiations in Yemen and announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to help the progress of this process.
