Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Sana'a government's military said in a statement that on Wednesday, "With God's help, the ship CMA CGM TAGE which was sailing for the ports of occupied Palestine was targeted. This ship was attacked after it did not respond to the request of the Yemeni Navy and did not pay attention to the fire warnings."
"We insist on blocking the way of Israeli ships or vessels heading towards occupied Palestinian ports as long as our brothers in Gaza need medicine and food," the spokesman said.
The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces further emphasized the security of the waterways of the Red Sea and Aden for all ships, except for the ships heading towards the ports of occupied Palestine. He warned that, "Any American attack will not go without reaction or punishment."
"We warn the American enemy and others about any attack or action in support of commercial ships heading towards the Zionist regime," he added.
The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces also extended his condolences over yesterday's martyrdom of Palestinian Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri and his companions by the Zionist Israeli regime in Beirut.
