According to TASS, the UN Palestinian refugee agency wrote on X (former Twitter), "Our teams are doing the impossible to help people in need. We mourn the loss of more UNRWA colleagues killed in Gaza, now 142, the majority with their families".
Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime’s decades-long violence against Palestinians.
The health ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that at least 20,424 civilians have been killed in the Israeli onslaught on the blockaded territory, including 166 deaths in the past 24 hours.
The Tel Aviv regime has imposed a “complete siege” on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
