Addressing the Friday prayers sermon today, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard referred to last night's terrorist attack on the police headquarters in Rask, Sistan and Baluchistan province, and stressed that a number of the best Iranian border guards were martyred by "treacherous mercenaries."
He further expressed hope that Iran's intelligence and security organization will quickly identify the traitors and will punish them.
Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader said that the neighboring country Pakistan should use all means to protect the borders of the two countries.
Stating that the balance of power is changing, Aboutorabifard noted that the era of unipolar world order is over.
He added that the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation launched by the Hamas movement and the Resistance of the people of the West Bank have demonstrated a different political order and a new strategy of the Axis of Resistance.
Referring to the developments in Gaza, he said, " Gaza people created a golden era in the long history of struggle and sacrifice of the heroic Palestinian nation, removing the mask from hypocrite US and its European supporters and the treacherous and aggressor Zionists.
He went on to say that today Gaza has exposed US deadliest exports; meaning freedom, human rights and Western democracy to the eyes of the international community, adding that a great human front on the scale of the world's geography have been formed against the anti-humanist materialistic values of the Western rulers.
Al-Aqsa Storm Operation and the Resistance of the people of Gaza showed a different military and political arrangement and a new strategy of the Axis of Resistance, he asserted.
He emphasized that the occupying forces have been defeated against the strength of Gaza people despite 60 days of continuous aggression and brutal bombing of Gaza Strip.
Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.
Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 18,787 Palestinians and injured 50,900 others.
Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under the rubble in Gaza, which is under “complete siege” by Israel.
