TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – A court in the Iranian capital Tehran has kicked off the hearing of charges of the crimes committed by members of a terrorist group dubbed Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO).

On Tuesday, the Branch 11th of the Criminal Court of Tehran province holds a trial of the ringleaders and members of the MKO terrorist group to publicize parts of atrocities and genocide against humanity that they committed against the oppressed Iranian nation.

The indictment of the case encompasses over 700 pages, which is read in the presence of families of the victims of terrorism, eyewitnesses to the heinous terrorism in the 1980s, as well as correspondents.

According to the criminal court, some 104 members of the terrorist group and a legal entity (the MKO) are sued in the trial for committing inhumane crimes.
