TEHRAN, Nov. 30 (MNA) –  Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian lauded the support and the humanitarian aid that a number of international unions and organizations have provided for Palestinians amid the Israeli onslaught against Gaza.

The top Iranian diplomat on Wednesday sent separate letters to Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC) Moussa Faki Mahamat, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Tasmagambetov Imangali Nurgalievich, Secretary-General of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) Felix Plasencia, and Secretary General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Kao Kim Hourn.

Amirabdollahian praised those organizations and unions for assisting the Palestinian people and condemning the Israeli regime’s brutal crimes against Gaza.

Reminding international organizations of their responsibility to stop the Zionist regime’s war crimes, Amirabdollahian said the muted response from a number of international actors and the Israeli regime officials’ impunity have encouraged the Zionists to keep committing crimes against Palestine.

More than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 7.

A 4-day ceasefire in Gaza came into effect last week and has been extended twice.
