"The Islamic Republic of Iran is gladly willing to explore opportunities for fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation with our Russian colleagues not only in space but also in all other fields of science and technology," the diplomat pointed out at a research conference dubbed "Political Aspects of the Applied Use of Space Technologies."
TASS quoted the embassy official as saying that even though some achievements have been made in a number of technology fields, "the potential for cooperation between Iran and Russia is far from being exhausted."
"Together, we can create new opportunities for our development and the strengthening of our countries’ positions on the international stage," he concluded.
