TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (MNA) – Two civilians were killed and 10 others injured in a suicide blast in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a military statement said on Monday.

The incident happened in Bannu district where a suicide bomber exploded himself near a security forces' convoy on Sunday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army said in the statement, Xinhua reports.

The injured people, including seven civilians and three soldiers, were shifted to a nearby hospital.

A clearance operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, the ISPR said.
