TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (MNA) – Iran has exchanged $75.5 billion worth of goods with various countries over the eight calendar months to November 21, according to the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

Mohammad Rezvanifar said on Sunday that Iran has imported some 25 million metric tons (mt) worth some $42 billion of goods in the eight-month period, exporting some 90 million mt valued at $32 billion.

He noted that the exports of oil, electricity, and techno-engineering services have been excluded from Iran’s foreign trade figures.

The official added that if the exports of oil, electricity, and techno-engineering services were taken into account, Iran’s trade balance would be positive by at least $10 billion in the timespan.
