TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (MNA) – The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has described the Zionist Israeli regime as a "rotten tooth" that has been uprooted and is feeling well that its time is over.

Major General Hossein Salami made the comments in a meeting with a group of IRGC commanders in Tehran on Tuesday.

"Today, the Zionist regime is like a worm-eaten and rotten tooth that has been separated from its roots and also feels its early and rapid collapse. Meanwhile, the Americans have understood the collapse of their prestige and position in the world," Salami said, adding that the US and Israeli regime decline is happening at the same time as the growing strength of Islamic Resistance inspired by the Iranian Islamic Revoltion in the world.

"America today has lost its past global position and is paying the price for a regime that has no benefits for it at all, and this is the result of the lack of wisdom in the American ruling apparatuses," he added.

The IRGC commander further described the US decline and Zionist regime destruction as good news for the world.

"The defeat of the Zionist regime and the decline of America is a source of peace and security for the world."
