TEHRAN, Nov. 06 (MNA) – Iran’s Prosecutor-General Mohammad Kazem Movahedi Azad departed for China to take part in the 21st Meeting of Prosecutors General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States.

The meeting agenda includes the role of the Prosecutors General in developing cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the SCO member states in countering terrorism and establishing security at the borders of the member states of the organization.

The meeting will be attended by the Prosecutors General of China, Iran, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan as official members and Belarus, as well as Mongolia as observer members.

China hosts the 21st Meeting of Prosecutors General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States in 2023.
