On Wednesday, an Iraqi Resistance group announced that it had targeted a US base in northeast Syria. The US base in Syria's Kharab al-Jir village came under a missile attack by Iraqi Resistance forces early Wednesday. A sound of explosion was heard from inside the US base which is located on the border between Iraq and Syria.
In reaction to US support for the Israeli regime in the Gaza war, the Iraqi Resistance groups have repeatedly targeted the positions of American forces in recent days.
