TEHRAN, Oct. 21 (MNA) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani says that the well-established relations between Tehran and Dushanbe will contribute to the peace and stability of the region.

Bagheri Kani made the remarks in a meeting with Tajikistan's foreign minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin on Friday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between Iran and Tajikistan, as well as the latest regional developments. The two diplomats also conferred on the Israeli regime's ongoing aggression against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Saying that Palestine is an inseparable part of the Islamic Ummah, the senior Iranian diplomat slammed the Israeli regime's crimes against Palestinians.

The top Tajik diplomat, for his part, said that his country is determined to expand relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields.
