TEHRAN, Oct. 09 (MNA) – The Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah warned the Tel Aviv regime that it would retaliate against the regime after the border flare-up.

Hezbollah warns of retaliation for deadly border flare-up:

Hezbollah said one of its members was killed in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon, the Reuters news agency reported, according to the Israeli regime media.

The member of the resistance movement told Lebanon’s al-Jadeed that it will respond to the shelling of the Ayt al-Shaab area “in accordance with the deterrence rules it has imposed.”

Lebanon’s Naharnet news site said Israel resumed striking the area.

No evidence yet of Iran link to Hamas attack: Israeli military

The Israeli military has said there is no concrete evidence of Iranian involvement in the Hamas attack from Gaza, after denials issued by the Iranian foreign ministry.

“Iran is a major player but we can’t yet say if it was involved in the planning or training,” said R Adm Daniel Hagari, a spokesperson for the Israel military, according to The Guardian.

Israel’s regime head, Isaac Herzog, said on Sunday that Hamas was acting as a proxy for Iranian interests, including Tehran’s desire to derail a possible peace accord between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Israeli regime military strikes southern Lebanon:

The Israeli military reportedly struck targets in southern Lebanon, following the infiltration of several gunmen into northern the occupied lands earlier.

An image published by a reporter for the Hezbollah-linked Al-Manar outlet showed a large blast in the area, Times of Israel reported.

Another clip circulating on social media showed a Hezbollah observation post being targeted.

Earlier, the occupying regime's military said it was using combat helicopters to carry out strikes in the area, after troops killed several gunmen in occupied territories in the north near the Lebanon border.

Meanwhile, according to the Times of Israel, the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya said it has received six injuries from the clashes on the Lebanon border, including one in critical condition, and another in serious condition.

The regime's military did not provide information on casualties from the incident, which saw troops kill a number of gunmen after they infiltrated into the occupied lands, according to the regime's army.
