A 512-km long pipeline transfers produced sour gas from Asalooye, southern Iran, to Aghajari, said the official adding that the whole volume would then be injected into oil reserves in southern oilfields.
This new project, which has cost some $2,127 billion, is capable of adding 120,000 liquid barrels per day (bpd) to the entire base output, the official added. Petro Pars Company has been in charge of the project.
