TEHRAN, Jun. 18 (MNA) – An F14 fighter jet crashed in Isfahan, central Iran on Saturday due to a technical defect.

Head of Army Public Relations in the Isfahan region made the announcement, saying that the warplane had a technical defect in the engine at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning during the mission.

According to Rasoul Motamedi, the pilot and co-pilot landed with a parachute and were taken to the hospital for medical treatment due to some injuries during landing.
