TEHRAN, May 05 (MNA) – Iran is the birthplace of the world’s origin of a special species of tulip, an inverted tulip known in Farsi as “Laleh Vajgoon”.

Inverted tulips in Fereydunshahr of Isfahan province grow at the heights of this city. Its flowering begins in early May and ends at the end of Spring. These tulips have a short life and have healing properties for rheumatism and joint pains.
